Audience research: Male questionnaire results

 
We created a questionnaire aiming to find out more about our target audience and what types of films they like to watch.

Here's the male questionnaire results:



The last part of the questionnaire consisted of open question meaning people could write whatever they wanted.
Here’s some of the males responses:

Do you skip the titles of a film depending on how they are presented? (appearance, font, music/sound etc.) Below are the answers we received.

“No.”
“Depends how interesting / integrated they are.”
“It depends, sometimes”
“No”
“No”

When asked “Would you watch a film based on other people’s opinions” we received 100% of the males we asked answered as “yes”.

When asked “Does the opening titles affect your decision to carry on watching the film?
60% answered as “yes” then the following 40% answered “no”.

What interests you in the opening titles? Below are the answers we received.

“Bit, catchy, appealing”
“The hook”
“The music sometimes, and if something interesting/funny happens”
“Action”
“A good start”
