Audience research: Female questionnarie results

We created a questionnaire aiming to find out more about our target audience and what types of films they like to watch.

Here’s the female questionnaire results:

 

 

Our main age range we collected data from was 16-20, this is really helpful as it’s the age range of our target audience.

We then went on to ask what genre do you prefer to watch. The most opular anser for female's was horror. The genre of our film is fantasy which was also a popular choice.

According to the data we collected females on average watch 1-2 films per week.

The last part of the questionnaire consisted of open question meaning people could write whatever they wanted.

When asked ‘Do you skip the title of a film depending on how they are presented?’ this was the females responses:

§  ‘No’

§  ‘Sometimes’

When asked ‘Would you watch a film based on other people’s opinions?’ this was the females responses:

§  ‘Yes’

§  ‘Depends on the opinion’

§  ‘If someone recommended a film, then I would watch it’

When asked ‘ Does the opening titles affect your decision to carry on watching the film?’ this was the females responses:

§  ‘No’

§  ‘Not really’

§  ‘Yes’

When asked ‘What interests you in the opening titles?’ this was the females responses:

§  ‘Sound, credits’

§  ‘Colours, images and what’s going on’

§  ‘The music and how the characters are presented’

§  ‘How its presented – the link with the film’

§  ‘Nothing’
